Skype: Online numbers in Italy withdrawn

Here is the official announcement made by Skype for Italian customers who faced problem with Online Numbers:
"Whilst we made every effort to try and restore your Online Number we were unsuccessful and as a result, all Online Numbers have been withdrawn in Italy.
We understand that this is both extremely disappointing and inconvenient. We are now in the process of providing all customers that had purchased an Online Number a full refund (for the last successful order).
The process should take approximately 2 weeks, we appreciate your patience. All customers will be contacted by Skype and do not need to take any steps unless requested.
Should you wish to retain your existing number please make arrangements with an authorized Italian service provider and they will port the number on your behalf.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused."
