How to change your voicemail passcode to avoid phone hacking?

When you purchase a new Mobile phone, you are given a default pass-code for your voicemail account. A large number of people don’t bother to change that default code, that results in their voicemail hacking.
Most of the people are unaware that their voicemail account can be hacked. It can take hardly a minute to change their 4 digit voicemail pass-code which can protect them from loss of important messages. Here’s how it’s done on different handsets and networks:
O2
If you have your O2 phone with you, Dial 901 for voicemail access. pick the option number 4 for voicemail settings and then you will guided to change your Pin-Code. If you don’t have access to your O2 phone, then you can dial your O2 mobile number from any other source.
Enter your default code of O2, which should be 8705. After that you can have access as like from O2, then you can choose option 4 and you are guided to the O2 security key.
Vodafone

Its a very simple process to change the passcode from Vodafone because Vodafone don’t give a default passcode. Just dial 121 for the voicemail. computerized voice will guide you towards main menu after pressing 1. then you have to press 4 for mailbox setting and then 2 for your mail security. that’s it.
Orange

Orange don’t allow you easily to access to your voicemail from any other mobile until you insert correct code and some reasonable verification. To change your Orange pass-code, hold down 1 key for voicemail access, then you have to press 3 for voicemail setting and security features. at the last, press 3 to set a fresh pass-code of your choice.
Virgin Mobile
Different Virgin phones have variable method to set a new passcode. Each handset have its own default security key. You just hold down 1 for the voicemail menu, then you have to follow the further instructions in that menu.
iPhone
iPhone network is very easy in this regard. You don’t have to call even. In your setting menu on iPhone, you have a “Phone” button, tap on it. Then you can see at the bottom, a big button “Change your Voicemail Code”. Tap on it, enter your new key and you are done.
T-Mobile
From your T-Mobile, press down 1 key, after coming in Voicemail menu, choose “Personal Options”. Here you can get an option “change mailbox features” and you are in. You are not allowed to change your default security key from any other mobile unless you have entered your own passcode.
